Favorite Finds at the ICFF

Looking back, we must have had cut-outs and carvings on the brain when we walked through this spring's International Contemporary Furniture Fair.  Our favorite finds all seem to have that in common...

1)  Colorful, carved barstools and chairs from Diane Paparo Studio - LOVE this bright red vine chair!

2)  The Intricately carved, delicate Allura Sideboard from Brooke M Davis - though the textured surface looks like a very dangerous place to rest your glass of wine.  Steady coasters required!!

3) Sculptural lighting pendants from Bespoke Global...  makes me think of coral, but it's in no way limited to using in a beachy decor.

All in all, it was a good show this year - - we hope to use some of these in our upcoming projects!

 

Favorite Finds at NYIGF

Just back from this winter's New York International Gift Fair, I thought I would post a few of our  favorite furniture & accessory finds before getting back to the business of decorating.   Fortified with plenty of coffee, kashi bars, and comfortable shoes, we made the trek through aisles and aisles of home goods vendors at NYC's Pier 94 this week.  We found a few great new sources and visited some old favorites, like Julian Chichester and Bungalow 5 (who incidentally celebrated the Grand Opening of their new NYC Showroom with a party on Monday night. The fried chicken was to die for, so I plan on attending every event they host henceforth.)
