Barbara Sternau has been designing homes in the NY metropolitan area for nearly 20 years. Her professional mission is to help her clients' create classical, colorful, and stylish spaces that reflect their personalities and lifestyles. While her personal taste is eclectic - ranging from rustic country to English Traditional to Contemporary - she is always drawn to vibrant color harmonies. A professional member of ASID, Barbara studied Interior Design at FIT in Manhattan, has been featured in "Westchester Magazine," and writes a monthly design column for the "Hudson River Journal."
Kitty Burruss joined Barbara's firm in 2007, making the transition from furnishing & staging corporate apartments in Manhattan to designing private residences in Westchester County. Originally a graduate of Tulane University's business school, Kitty spent several years working in Business Development & Event Planning before studying Interior Design at Parsons. She brings her professional background in project management to the firm and has a talent for breathing new life into traditional interiors.
